Different Collation

Can I restore a database to another server with different collation? I
think it is impossible but just wanted to double check. Thanks.You can as of SQL Server 2000. But your applications might have problems if you don't have the same
collation in the app database as in the system databases. Ask your app vendor whether they have
tested for this.
