differential database backup query

Hi,

I'm not 100% sure if my problem can be fixed but any help would be grateful, what I'm trying to do is discover what data in Great Plains is getting held in what tables in sql server. My idea was to take a back up of the current database, add a record and then compare the back up to the current system and get the differences. Does anyone know if this can be done.

You can try to run a trace on the GreatPlains tables/Stored Procedure to find out what you need.
