Differerence between SQL Mobile and SQL CE ?

Hi ,

Can any one explain me how SQL CE and SQL Mobile different\similar to each other?

It's the same product, only renamed.

That was the impression I had. But see this

"Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition is the next version of SQL Server Mobile adding the desktop platform. SQL Server Compact extends the SQL Server Mobile technology by offering a low maintenance, compact embedded database for single-user client applications for all Windows platforms including tablet PCs, pocket PCs, smart phones and desktops."

Again it shows they are different.?

Well, they are different versions: 3.0 and 3.1 respectively. Basically SQL CE 3.1 has some bugs fixed from SQL Mobile (3.0) and removs restrictions for desktop support.

|||Is there a link on the Internet that lists the bugs fixed in SQL CE 3.1? I'm not having much luck finding one....

Specifically, I'd be interested to know if any bug fixes are related to "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation"...
